Most kids are blindly stuck in the ‘Perfectionist Trap’. Living filtered lives with hidden shame and the constant pressure to impress wherever they go.
They are drowning in peer comparison, academic stress, and the exhausting desire to never make a mistake.
Survival for them means masking who they really are:
In Sport: Looking aggressive on the footy field while suffering performance anxiety.
During Class: Never contributing their opinion or flat out work refusal to avoid embarrassment.
With Friends: Quitting activities of passion and joy in an attempt to escape peer judgement.
Left alone, this leads to poor behaviour, crippling shame, and a complete loss of personal identity.
